The thirteenth “Black & Blue Gala”

Total Petroleum Puerto Rico Corp. (TPPRC) along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Puerto Rico (MDA) celebrated the thirteenth “Black & Blue Gala”, recognized as one of the country’s 5 best parties and as the best in the gala category. The event was held in the Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center in San Juan, using the theme of Ice & Fire. Hundreds of guests danced to the rhythm of DJ’s Iván Robles, Bik, F, El Conjunto Quisqueya and the band Keme Gusta El Show, which is known for its tribute to Juan Luis Guerra.

An exclusive menu inspired by the theme of the gala was prepared by Janette Berríos, Executive Chef of the Hotel. In addition to the excellent presentation, music, and food, the guests were able to participate in a silent auction with artifacts selected exclusively for the occasion; including between them a Total gas card valued in a thousand dollars, artworks, paintings, jewelry, and accessories.

Every year the Gala is presented with the purpose of helping more than three thousand patients with neuromuscular conditions treated by MDA in Puerto Rico. During the last six years TPPRC has demonstrated its commitment for the cause by supporting the entity with more than a hundred thousand dollars each year in efforts that resume in the sale of tickets and obtaining sponsors for the event.
